Earthworks and civil contractors in Tokoroa
Site works and demolition in town, civil and drainage for council and industry, and farm work on the dairy country between Tokoroa and Putāruru. Half an hour from our yard.

Tokoroa is the biggest town in the South Waikato and the closest real town to our yard. It has industrial sites, a growing residential edge and dairy farms on three sides, so we are in and out of it most weeks.
Town sites, industrial work and the farms around it
Tokoroa gives us a bit of everything: building platforms and demolition in town, civil and drainage for the council and the industrial sites, and race and crossing work on the surrounding dairy farms.
Site works and house pads
Platforms, driveways and site scrapes for new builds and infill sections around Tokoroa, set out with grade control and compacted to the engineer's spec.
Demolition and land clearing
Taking down old sheds, houses and commercial buildings, sorting the material and carting it off, with the services disconnected and confirmed before anything moves.
Civil and drainage
Stormwater, trenching and infrastructure work for South Waikato District Council and head contractors, on Tōtika prequalified sites with engineer sign-off.
Working in and around Tokoroa
Tokoroa grew up around forestry and the Kinleith mill, and a lot of the land around it has been through a forestry cycle. The soils are pumice and volcanic ash, which dig easily and drain well but need to be compacted properly before anything heavy goes on them.
In town, the work is mostly building platforms, driveways and demolition on older sections being redeveloped. Around the edges it is dairy: races, culverts, crossings and feed pads on the flat to rolling country between Tokoroa, Putāruru and Whakamaru.
Tokoroa is in the South Waikato District. Consents, engineering sign-off and roading permits go through South Waikato District Council, and we deal with them regularly.

What we take on
Civil construction is the core of it. Around that we do the earthworks, drainage and farm work that keeps a site moving.

Yes. Houses, sheds and commercial buildings. We confirm power, water and gas are disconnected before we start, sort the material on site and cart it away as part of the job.
Yes. We hold Tōtika prequalification, which is what most councils and head contractors check before letting a contractor on site, and we run traffic management where the job needs it.
Yes. Send the drawings and the geotech report if there is one, and we will price cut, fill, hardfill and cartage separately so you can see where the money goes.
