Earthworks and civil contractors across the Waikato and Taupō

Three waters, house pads, driveways, retaining walls and farm work. Tōtika prequalified, grade control on the machine, and we turn up when we say we will.

Any ground. Any job.

Council sites, subdivisions, dairy farms and lifestyle blocks. We bring the right machine to it.

Got a job coming up?

Tell us what you need and roughly where. We will come and look at it, then send you a price.

Subdivisions
An orange excavator with 'TRIDENT' and contact details parked on a dirt construction site next to a white house. Three workers in bright safety gear and helmets work near the house, one crouched down and two standing. A metal fence and trees are in the background.
Lifestyle blocks
Worker in an orange high-visibility jacket using a compactor on a gravel area with a wooden platform, next to a small orange excavator, in a grassy rural landscape under a partly cloudy sky.

Levels off the model, not a string line

Grade control means batters, inverts and formation levels are right the first time.

Sorted, start to finish.

From the drawings to the clean-up, here is what you can count on.

Construction site with a deep trench where one worker in an orange jacket and red helmet measures the trench depth with a long measuring rod, while another worker in an orange jacket walks nearby; a crane holds a suspended green and red equipment piece above the trench, and large industrial pipes and concrete structures surround the area.
Tōtika prequalified

New Zealand's national health and safety prequalification. It is what councils and head contractors check before they let anyone on site.

Newly poured concrete drainage channel lined with wooden forms, situated next to a black fence with grass and soil surrounding the area, and traffic cones visible in the background near a road.
Fixed-price quotes

A clear scope and price before we start, so you know what is in and what is not.

The right machine

Two CAT 313F excavators, a 3 tonne digger for tight access and our own Hino tip truck. For bigger civil scopes we bring in hired plant at short notice, so we turn up with the gear the job actually needs.

Left tidy

Site tidied, ground reinstated, and as-builts where the job calls for them.

We turn up and
get it done.

Live carriageways, shored trenches, wet paddocks in August. For us that is just the everyday.

A large bonfire with bright orange flames and sparks burning on a grassy field at dusk, with a Caterpillar construction excavator nearby and rolling hills in the background.

Simple, from quote to clean-up.

Questions we get asked

The two things most people want to know before they ring. If yours is not here, call Scott and ask.

Do you take on small jobs, or only big civil work?

Both. Civil and infrastructure work is the core of what we do, but a driveway, a house pad, a retaining wall, a demolition job or a couple of days of farm work are all regular jobs for us. The closer you are to Whakamaru, the easier a small job is to fit in around the bigger ones. Further out, we plan work in blocks so the travel makes sense.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based at Whakamaru and work across Taupō, Tūrangi, the South Waikato, Waipā, Hamilton, the King Country and out to Rotorua, Morrinsville and Matamata. If you are anywhere between Taupō and Hamilton, tell us where the job is and we will let you know.

Still have questions?

Give Scott a call, or send the form and we will come and look at the job.

let's get your job sorted.

Tell us what you are dealing with and we will come and size it up, then send you a price. Usually within a couple of days.

Got it. We'll be in touch shortly, usually within a day.
